Danielle Ezzo

The project engages with The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s vast digital archive of open access images. They're first printed and constructed into delicate paper mobiles then rephotographed. The project expands on the concerns around post-colonialism, curation in virtual spaces, and the slippery idea of ownership where images proliferate and evolve outside of their original/historical contexts.
