Silence.  Solitude.  Serenity.

These are the things I discovered on my quest for inner stillness - a journey 8 years in the making that is largely contributed to by spending time in outer stillness:  Seeking these calm mornings before the world awakens and channelling the peace I find here through self portraiture - my therapy.  A way for me to be in the moment, to breathe, to be in awe, and to capture these feelings through creation.
