Tairāwhiti Gisborne. A land of east-south-east proximity where the skies are dark, the cliffs are brittle and the dawns consistently bright. A place with a rich and varied settlement history where the first arrived by sea. The ocean here is alive and nourishing - it's the shaper and giver of life.
