These photographs draw on magical realism and symbolism to explore the magic inherent in yielding to uncertainty. They acknowledge the surreal nature of navigating challenge and transformation, even though we so often desire assurances and constants. They  serve as a reminder that we are all improvising a life-dance between these polarities and are my attempt to distill the complexity and confusion of uncertain times—as if making elements for a spell.
