There are few in Kurindar old enough to remember when the last of the fae still roamed the wilds; before Ae'Tar drove their kind to extinction. The legends say that the eldest of the fae gave their lives to conjure a great magic that allowed the last surviving members of their race to escape beyond the veil. While no one knows for certain, there is no denying that powerful forces of some kind surround the ruins known as the Aegis of the Sun.
