My work from this period has been described as baroque-horror-orgy-core. And this piece lives up to that description. I've become obsessed with the number 33 lately.

Down the sacred spine, up to the pineal gland,
A pinecone falls, a left hand extends.
33 senses, where the soul transcends.
Descended from 33 vertebrae, in mystic design,
Each sense a key to the divine.

33 degrees to obtain the highest degree,
An owl perches, obscured within the pine tree.
33 steps to enlightenment's gate,
Where celestial tongues, control your fate.
