This is a story of Persephone, a goddess of vegetation and friend of nymphs who is kidnapped by Hades, the god of underworld, to be his queen. Her absence causes winters on earth.
I personally resonate with this love story a lot, as I believe soulmate fulfill each other by filling parts that they miss. In this art, I emphasize strong contrasts; light and dark, lives and deaths, hot and cold, flow and rigid. At the end, they harmonize and complete this art as a love of Hades and Persephone.
