This aerial photograph from my project THE SALT SERIES explores the process of sea salt production. Energy from the sun and wind concentrates water to help encourage salt growth. The color of the water comes from bacteria, which changes hues when salinity in the water rises.

»Salt Works II« is amongst my most iconic images to date. Physical prints (25x) have been sold out to collectors worldwide.

I will donate half of the collected amount to @4ocean, a mission to end the ocean plastic crises.
