I welcome you to my genesis piece, Runa Hongo. Translated in a mixture of Spanish and Quechua (the native Incan language) this means 'Mushroom Man' and is part 1 of a multipart series.

This piece depicts a powerful psychedelic experience I had while communing with the incredible Cotopaxi volcano of the Andes. This psychoactive revelation allowed me to embrace the fragility of life and my ability to share my gratitude and honor the thousands of generations before me. In my awakening I sensed the suffering, contributions, and revelations my people before me had endured. Through this piece I want to embody the spiritual and mystical aspects of the Andes.

I welcome you into the eyes of the enchanted and transcendental. This piece is my roots and distress to share my love for the natural forces that occur in life.
