Everyone knows that the Sahara is the largest desert on earth. It is uniquely attractive, but all the while destructive. While I had seen photographs of dunes before, when in the desert, I fell into a sandstorm and felt the full power of Mother Nature. The Sahara struck me with its power and danger.
