This was one of the most powerful protests I’ve been to. We marched until sundown in DTLA at the height of the protests for justice for George Floyd.

In the distance, I saw this person, standing on the bridge with their fist in the air. We were so far away I could hardly even see their fist. But as we got closer, I continued to watch this man, his fist staying in the air the entire time we approached.

As we marched closer to the bridge I began positioning myself accordingly. I saw some signs up ahead, so I ran up, adjusted my lens to frame the shot and click
