A winter sunset high above Lake Lyndon on the way down from summitting Foggy Peak in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.

This was a peaceful moment as the sky turned shades of pink and purple and the world got quiet just before nightfall.

Foggy Peak is one of the lesser known hikes in this area making it a special place to truly appreciate nature and get away from it all.
