On a beautiful winter morning I set off to a fishing village to take photos. With the first rays of sun the weather started to warm, and a lovely mist formed over the lake.

I started to take photos of this beautiful view and the fishermen. As I walked along the lakeside to discover more of this place, an abandoned boat caught my attention. With its warm colors, it was forming a perfect harmony with this dreamy, peaceful scene.

It was different from every other fishing boat in the village. All the boats except this one had a natural dark wood color, with no paint on them. Its old texture made the colors even more visible.

I find early morning hours magical. One can feel the nature refreshing itself with a ceremony of peaceful and serene vibes transforming into bright ones, accompanied by amazing colors. I like to combine this feeling with the scene and in such way compose a photograph that would reflect the feeling of that moment.

At the moment I took this photo, I was also fascinated by how the blue water formed a contrast and harmony with vivid reds and oranges of the boat. Energized, boosting colors yet a dreamy, calm, serene, and soft atmosphere…

This immediately reminded me of the human spirit composed of diverse feelings and how beautiful and magnificent we are with our unique qualities when we are in harmony with our own nature.
