Tranquil is my first genesis piece from my landscape photography collection.

In the summers of 2015 I finally got a chance to travel one of the most heavenly places in the world, Neelum Valley AJK, Pakistan.

I started my journey at 5:30pm from Islamabad and traveled for straight 12 hours with short breaks for dinner and refreshment. I was dead tired after spending so many hours on road and seeing only darkness.

Then at around 5:00 am in the morning I stopped at a beautiful village called Kel. Then the dawn came, the birds started to sing with the calmness of river Neelum in the background. The sunlight started to kiss the surrounding mountains and finally the enchanted beauty of the valley revealed itself.

The lonely house right in front of me and the tranquility of the moment was simply breathtaking which cannot be explained in words or can be justified in this image.
