This is a piece I created in April of 2021. I was initially creating a fairly centralized piece with a dark background like a lot of my other artwork. During the creation process though, I somehow veered off and down into another dimension and ended up flipping it inside out entirely. The orange tones were speaking to me that evening I guess and allowing this one's wings to spread and take flight.

There are lots of layers and details here to unpack which indicates that I probably had a lot on my mind during that time. Whatever it was, I've dealt with it and moved on, and we now have this beautiful creation to look back upon.
