My entry to Rik Oostenbroek's "Show Yourself" art contest. In the few precious days I had to create this I discovered a lot of things about where I want to take my work in the future. This process was the direct catalyst to me being able to create my latest 1/1, 'Stasis', also in this collection. You can probably see the similarities in the two pieces and a progression from this one to the next.

I'm very grateful to Rik for allowing all participants to use his artwork in any way they wanted to. It really was a joy to take part in and see all of the amazing entries flood in. Rik even put on a physical gallery show in Amsterdam for all entrants.

I wanted to mint this piece to show that I took part in a truly unique and groundbreaking event in early NFT history and to say that I was here. I think this will prove to be an important work in my own artistic journey when I look back on it in years to come. It's definitely a turning point for me.
