It's always a wonderful feeling to be humbled by nature. We are but a microscopic blip in the universe, after all. Shiprock, located in New Mexico, stands nearly 2,000 feet tall. It is majestic, to say the least, and a sight I recommend everyone behold at least once in their lifetime.

Capturing this beautiful natural monument from a drone's perspective did it some justice. Overall, I was disappointed to have missed the meteor shower that occurred a few nights before this image was captured.

To compensate, I had a bit of fun in post processing and created a nightscape. When I shared this image, I was told it looked like a scene from another planet. That much satisfied me. If I can take my viewers on a journey that challenges the bounds of their imagination, then I've created something worthwhile.
