Helin Bolek (1992 - 2020, was a Kurdish member of the leftist Turkish folk music band GRUP YORUM) who gave her life for art and freedom of expression by staging a hunger strike for 288 days. As far as I am concerned, this martyrdom has got the power to set fire to various layers of thoughts. All of the fascist regimes usually try to silence the art from its very onset and also, the artists who speak out the truth without any fear.
