This is a photo of the starry sky shining above the sea clouds.

This photo was taken in Nosegawa Village in Nara Prefecture. This is one of the most famous spots in Japan where you can often see the sea of clouds. The stars are also beautiful here, so I thought it would be a good idea to capture the sea of clouds and the stars together in this photo.

However, the sea of clouds is not something you can see very often. Also there are many days when you can't take photos of the stars due to the moon. So it was very difficult to take a photo of the stars and the sea of clouds as a set.
I experienced more than ten failures before I was able to take this. Even if the sea of clouds appeared too much, the fog would cause a whiteout. And even when conditions were good, the sea of clouds often did not appear.

Finally, I was able to take this.
