This animated piece digitally has depicted my physical painting with subject "Bahram Gur (Sasanian king) in the white dome on friday" of Haft Paykar from the Khamsa of Nizami.
Haft Peykar consists of seven tales. One day Bahram Gur found his way into a locked palace room, where he encountered seven portraits of seven princesses representing the seven climes.
And Bahram builds a palace containing seven domes, each dedicated to one day of the week and bearing its emblematic color. Bahram visits each dome in turn with the clothes that were the same color as the dome from princesses, he feasts, drinks and listens to the tale told by each princess.
In this painting, Bahram Gur wears a white robe and is seated in the white dome of Persian princess that the tale of the seventh day is told to Bahram by the daughter of Khosrow (The king of Iran) while playing the harp.
