The Great nebula in Orion is one of the brightest nebulae and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky.
This image was captured with narrowband filters and processed in a Hubble color pallet SHO.
Which means each of the elements Sulfur, Hydrogen, and Oxygen was assigned to the channels Red, Green, and Blue, respectively.
It was captured with a 152mm achromat refractor and a sub-zero degrees cooled astronomy camera.
