After driving for 2½ hours in the pouring rain we arrived at the mountain known to the indigenous people as Loowitlatkla, or Lady of Fire.
Not even the torrential downpour could put out this lady's fire.
I'm pretty sure I say this about every piece I mint, but this is easily one of my favorite shots. It's funny how what started out as a quick snapshot can turn into a staple in your portfolio and in your heart.
