The story of night and light.

The presence and absence of light that impressed me so much. "Nyx" inspired me for this piece when I studied its history in human myths.

Before there was anything, there was darkness or 'night' and it was there that Nyx came to be, according to the ancient Greek mythos. Nyx is often depicted in symbolism as ending the day and bringing the night.

Throughout antiquity Nyx caught the imagination of poets and artists, Nyx (Night) came to life in this artwork.
