The times of simple protesting have passed and we have moved into an age of civil disobedience, again. We now face a time where placing our bodies on the line will be necessary to protect our human rights, our communities ability to grow and thrive and our children’s prospects at any sort of livable future. Seeing these women screaming into the void, holding space in prayer and placing their bodies on the line gives me hope. We need collective action now— more than ever.
