Located in Palm Springs, California, the Rennick House was built in 1964 for Avery & Virginia Rennick. Avery, a well known furniture designer with close ties to Hollywood, including John Wayne, was one of the original developers of the Sunset Strip.

As a kid growing up far, far away from California I dreamed of it often. I only knew it from movies and magazines. This photo is the perfect representation of my California dream at the time. Blue skies, palm trees, and wealth - all in one frame.
