The Cave Nebula is 2,400 light-years from Earth. I stayed on target with this object for 26 hours across multiple nights to capture it. It was slected as the NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) on November 14, 2018 - which is considered one of the highest awards one can get in astrophotography.
