Circuitous is a multi-scale Truchet tiling. Each tile comprises a linear gradient and a set of arcs. Each gradient utilizes two of three possible colors and one of four possible gradient directions. The colors and arc orientations are assigned using random number generation, resulting in 24 outcomes for each tile. The number of arcs varies based on tile size, creating continuity across all scales. Created with Processing, September 2021.
