When the little house by the shore gleamed with golden light by the setting sun,
two wide eyes stood gazing at the water searching for the boat that will bring his father home.

Dawn to dusk his father ferries passengers across the river but when the sun touches the far away trees,
And the sky turns golden, his father will cross the river for the last time, tie the boat and will call his name,

Any moment now...

He will tell him stories about far away travelers, their journeys that brought them there;
He will tell him about the distant places with strange names and how they have delicious candies and colorful food...that one day they will see it all.

He will bring him tiny trinkets he found on the way and tell him tales of how it journeyed all the way just to be in his little hands,

Any moment now...
