In the constellation Sagittarius, a massive cloud of gas known as the “Red Spider” is slowly drifting through the void of deep space. The nebula’s arms give it the appearance of a haunting spider-like creature. At the core of the nebula is the hottest star known to exist in the universe. The star’s powerful winds create bright colored waves up to 100 billion kilometers high, reaching temperatures of up to 25 times the temperature of the surface of the sun.
