This GIF was originally created in 2018 and reworked in 2021. Inspired by David Hockney’s iconic pattern, painted on the bottom of The Hollywood Roosevelt hotel pool, this work uses similar strokes in motion. By activating a queer past and looking in-between form, can a queerer future be interpreted?
