Rejang dance is a traditional dance from Bali. Each region in Bali has its own characteristics for this Rejang dance. One of them is in Asak Village.
The Rejang Asak in Asak Village distinguishes from other Rejang in Bali, especially in the use of the headdresses for Rejang Asak, namely "Payas Bunga Emas".
Bunga Emas or Gold Flower is a Sandat (Ylang) flower which is will inspired by the shape of the ylang flower blade and once the flowers are old they will be colored yellow looks more lively applied to the crown of Rejang Asak. Smell of ylang flower is a symbol of silence and enthusiasm in doing the Rejang Asak dance. Judging from the shape of the ylang flower is very harmonious in its application. From the golden color symbolizes majesty and the excitement of the Rejang Asak dancing activity.
