“Pies para qué los quiero si tengo alas para volar” Frida Kahlo en 1953.

Frida was created in honour of Rose Mery Guarita, a fighter of people with disabilities in Bolivia. “Like any Bolivian citizen, we want to be treated with equality and for the government to treat us as citizens, to allow us to work. We do not want any more silent deaths. We want society to include us, and also to take care of us.”

We are currently editing La Lucha, a feature film about a quixotic protest of people with disabilities in Bolivia.
