The great red dragon looms over a Mayan temple, heralding the ending of their calendar.
I did this digital painting for RadCon, in Pasco, WA the year I was their Artist Guest of Honor - in 2012. Remember all the crazy theories about the end of the Mayan calendar that year?
It's also the first painting I ever did fully digitally - no pencil sketch to start out. Just painting in Photoshop from the beginning. I feel like it's the dragon that most represents me, and so I thought it should be the first image I ever mint as an NFT. Heralding my entry into the fascinating world of Digital Originals!
