A retro futuristic animation of an important memory storage technology in our history. Digital memory is often an extension of our personal memory, storing audio. The MiniDisc was most popular during the 1990s and 2000s and offered up to 80 minutes of erasable digitized audio storage. The technology itself may hold more significance depending on the generation of the people who used it. Organising the audio, creating playlists or making field recordings, creating custom labels and distributing MDs amongst friends and family may be considered a cultural moment and an important memory in its own right.
