This tornado occurred on April 27th, 2021 near Kit Karson, Colorado. This was one of many landspouts and tornadoes that occurred on this day. This tornado, due to the massive amount of dust on the colorado high plains combined with a very dry low-level atmosphere, this tornado did not condense all the way to the ground. The fact that this and so many others occurred was a meteorological miracle. I overnighted over 10 hours screaming in my mind, "wait, wait, wait! I drove all this distance, you will wait for me colorado, you will wait!" And just like the miracle it was, this storm produced its first tornado as I reached the storm. I was unbelievably lucky to have been there to witness a storm produce over 10 landspouts/tornadoes on this day just within a couple of hours. The fact this shot was in frame with the windmills and capturing a lone farmstead in perfect focus was a pure miracle. Eastern colorado produces some of the best tornadoes every year and this one is no exception.
