The word mandala is a Sanskrit term that means “Circle” and in fact a Mandala is a circular structure with a design that radiates out symmetrically from a unifying center. It is one of nature’s most perfect configurations. Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe through layers . The circular designs symbolizes the idea that life is never ending and everything is connected.
In spiritual or religious process, a mandala is a period of approximately 40 days in which time the human system completes one physiological cycle.
