【雷神/Raijin】
Izanami died after giving birth to Kagu-tsuchi, the god of fire.
After entering “Yomi no Kuni (the world of the dead)”, Izanami's body rotted, and the god of thunder was born from her.
Raijin is also called "Honoikazuchi no Okami".

【Meaning】
“雷 / Rai” means ”thunder” and ”lightning”
“神 / jin” means “god”.

【Concept】
This art is inspired by the masterpiece of Japanese art, "Wind God and Thunder God".
Raijin generates lightning by beating a drum behind him.
He illuminates the world of the Metaverse with his own thunder.
The relief on his back contains some elements of the Buddhist statue.
