Description

It’s not really called Ghost Diner, but everyone in Electric City calls it that. Its original owner passed away 16 years ago but his ghost still lingers, at least that’s how the story goes. Sure, the building is old and rather shabby just like everything in Electric City. Neon signs flicker, the TV displays static or “lost signal” message half the time and on a night like this shadows in the corners look especially dark. Most visitors think it’s wiring problems, old legends and funny marketing though.

The waitress brings me my tea and walks away. For a while I’m left with my thoughts until I feel a sudden chill in my bones that makes hair stand up on my arms and on the back of my neck. And surprisingly I feel so much less alone. Has every Ghost Diner visitor experienced this? I’m not sure. Maybe you have to be very lonely to be willing to spend time with ghosts.
