Laith (Arabic: ليث), also romanized as Leith or Layth, in the Arabic language, Leith means "lion cub".
Due to the latest efforts from lion conservationists the number of lions living in Kenya has increased 25% to 2,489 over the past decade, according to the latest numbers from the Kenyan government.
This new figure indicates that the effort that has been put into lion conservation by so many – Kenya Wildlife Service, Born Free, Big Life, Ewaso Lions, Northern Rangelands Trust and many more, including local communities – is paying off.
My mission is to bring more awareness and support through my photography of wildlife to conservation efforts of the habitat and wildlife.
