The historic dust storm of July 5th, 2011 was over 100 miles wide and reached heights above 5,000 feet. It hit Phoenix, Arizona in the late evening, just after sunset and made headlines not only across the United States, but around the world. It was seen on every major news network globally, licensed by Al Gore, National Geographic, the BBC and many more entities. 2021 marks the 10th anniversary of that dust storm and this time-lapse, which personally changed my life.
