Tasman Saddle Hut is in one of the most spectacular locations in Aoraki Mt Cook National Park. There’s noting quite like waking up to views of alpine ridges and snow fields to make you feel fully alive. Growing up in an adventurous family, backcountry huts are deeply nostalgic and they bring back some of my fondest memories. This is true for a lot of New Zealanders and I love creating imagery which evokes similar memories and feelings for other people. I loved using colour, texture, composition and scale to portray the grandness of this location.
