Sefton Bivvy is the oldest hut in Aoraki Mt Cook National Park. Perched on a rocky outcrop it has hosted some of New Zealand’s most renowned mountaineers. It’s such a magical spot which looks out to the glacial blue Lake Pukaki and beyond. I wanted this illustration to capture the romance and grandness of this beautiful location which I love so much and hope to visit again.
