This art is dedicated to the great dancer!
Rudolf Nureyev was a legendary ballet dancer who was in demand both on the Soviet stage and abroad. He is considered to be the most famous dancer of the 20th century, and Rudolf's technique and leap are textbook. After a Paris tour in 1961, he refused to return to the Soviet Union, sought political asylum and became one of the most famous refugees in Russian history. After his dancing career ended, Nureyev tried his hand as both a choreographer and film actor, and in his later years was a conductor at the Paris Opera
"I always felt that success, when it came, had to be as enormous as my love of ballet. It seemed to me to be a condition of the bargain struck with life."
Rudolph Nureyev
