Redmond O'Hanlon was a notorious Irish outlaw and rebel leader in the 17th century, known for his defiance against English rule in Ireland. Often referred to as the "Irish Robin Hood," he stole from the rich to give to the poor, leading a band of highwaymen before being betrayed and killed in 1681.
