A rare morning in Dubai. Conditions that only form a few times a year. Dubai marina covered in a sea of clouds with the Cayan tower protruding through.

These are the mornings photographers dream of. Mornings that are very close to my heart. This marked the start of a new part of my life. I had just relocated to Dubai. I heard there was possibility of the famous fog to make an appearance at sunrise. Setting multiple alarms, I woke up at 4am to no visibility outside my apartment. But this only meant one thing. The fog was here.

I managed to get roof top access opposite to Dubai marina. Using my Sony A7iii and a 70-200m I snapped away at the Cayan tower worlds tallest twisted building, 306 meters high and rotating a full 90 degrees. I framed it carefully to give the impression that it was infinite. It was a surreal and magical morning. Watching sunrise above the clouds. The light ever changing as it reflected off the buildings. A morning I won’t forget.
