In the book of life, we turn each page. Aging,
we grow to remember;
Our dreams were kites that freely flew,
No worries or burdens, our skies so blue.
We saw the world as a magical ride,
Through innocent eyes so wide,
Cherishing each ferris wheel ride.
Time, like a river flows and rushes adulthood's swift currents
catching us unaware.
Swayed by the weight of responsibility,
we must have been blinded to see the complexity of adulthood by the simplicity of childhood.
