The people we idolize can oftentimes be the same people we aspire to emulate. This song is a reminder to myself that the story matters. Everything that I do stems from a sincere desire to create for posterity and legacy. When my time comes I hope that the energy my music gives other people stays. Freeing myself from the shackles of the music industry meant celebrating the spirit of this space in a way that unifies us all.
