Farez installed his primitive ferris wheel on a vacant lot in the Micrayon quarter of Kabul. He fashioned the seats of his carnival attraction, which he calls “a trip towards the stars”, from scrap metal and bits of wood. For a few centimes, he makes it go around several times.
