"Go to your room," my parents would say,
And off I'd go without delay.
But once inside my private space,
I'd fire up my computer with grace.

I'd surf the web and play some games,
And lose myself in the digital flames.
For though I was sent to my room,
The computer was my escape from gloom.

As time passed, I began to see,
That the computer was where I was meant to be.
So I started to explore and create,
And let my computer be my soulmate.

Now when my parents say, "Go to your room,"
I smile and think of the digital blooms.
For though the world outside may call,
The computer will always be my all.
