Grey aliens, also known as Zeta Reticulans or Roswell Greys, have become synonymous with extraterrestrials in popular culture. Their image stems from reported UFO sightings and alleged alien abductions. While descriptions vary, they are typically portrayed as frail, humanoid figures with smooth grey skin, large black eyes, and a small nose and mouth. The Barney and Betty Hill abduction case of 1961 is credited with solidifying the grey alien image in the public consciousness. However, precursor descriptions and sightings go back even further, including the 1947 Roswell UFO incident. Despite their prevalence in popular culture, there's no scientific evidence to support the existence of grey aliens.
